Final poster submission

Our class submitted the final posters today! I am excited to say that the poster part of the capstone is almost completed. Next week we have the COLA Capstone Poster Session, which I am very excited for. I hope that my poster turns out exactly the way I expected so that I can talk to my peers about posters haha. I changed much of the text so that it reads smoother and is more concise. I also included an example label copy along with 3 posters the label copy is referring to. Next is completing the thesis. 

Poster draft progress

 Last week we had our second poster session of the semester where we all received feedback from faculty on our posters. This was very helpful in my next steps for the poster. In the poster session I received feedback on shortening the text in the poster, reorganizing photographs, and cleaning up the poster overall. After making theses adjustments my poster looked a lot nicer and hopefully ready to be finalized on Monday after the thesis board looks over the text.

Thesis full draft progress

 Last week we handed in the full drafts of our thesis. In completing this I felt very good at where I was at in the writing process. To complete my full draft I had to add the project part of my thesis to the paper as well as some other elements. The large part of what I added was label copy and wall text script to the full draft. I also added a playlist that can be played and downloaded at the exhibit. I also added the appendix which includes all of the posters I will be using for the exhibit along with photos of 1960s counterculture in San Francisco.
